This inner patio was created when the Pavillion of the Great Industries,
for the 1922 International Exposition, was built. In the 80’s, restoration
works modified the design of the gardens and the arcades were closed.
Nowadays, the place is used for the special gardening project directed to
dispossessed youngsters, as part of the Museum's educational program.
The Patio is surrounded by the Library, Historical Archives and the Gallery
of the Memory of the Imperial State exhibition. |
